Bhubaneshwar 

Bhubaneshwar capital city of Orissa. The beautiful temples with richly architectures surrounded by Khandgiri and Udyagiri hills. It is traditionally said that there existed nine thousand nine hundred ninety nine temples in Bhubaneshwar. The main temple of Bhubaneshwar is called Lingraj temple presided by Lingraj or Lord Siva otherwise called Krutivas or Tribhubaneshwar. The Orissa state museum and Tanks are deserve to notice visitors. 

Puri 

Puri is not only famous as a holy place for its great temple of Jagannath but also for the entire area of Puri known as Srikshtra or Nilachal extending over 16 km. The sandy track along the sea stretches between two scared tirthas the swagdara ( Heaven's gate ) and the chakra tirtha. It is believed that swagdara is so named as dip in the scared sea nearby it makes way to the heaven. The town is dominated by the great temple of Jagnnath or Shri Mandir situated on Nilgiri Hills.  

Konark 

The present temple built by Raja Langula Narasingh Dev in the year 1258. it was built in the form of celestial chariot of the Sun God fitted with 24 wheels 7 horses. In front of temple 24 wheels are significant of 12 pair of foresight of the year and seven horses stand for 7 days of week.
